The Zenfone 3 Max was very popular thanks to its massive 4,000mAh battery. Today, ASUS aims to take it a notch higher, as it launched the latest iterations of the brand’s battery king. Say hello to the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max and the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max Pro.
Zenfone 4 Max
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Max features a premium metallic design, and has a 5.5-inch IPS HD Display. At the helm is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430/425 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage expandable with a microSD card. It uses a triple slot tray, so you can use two SIM cards along with your memory card at the same time.
True to ASUS’ promise of bringing its imaging expertise to the entire Zenfone 4 lineup, the Max now boasts a dual 13MP + 5MP camera setup with EIS, the latter sporting a 120° wide-angle lens. There’s also an 8MP front camera complimented by a Softlight LED to bring out natural skin tone in your selfies.
Like the previous model, the Zenfone 4 Max also comes with ASUS PowerMaster, which is basically a suite of options that lets you optimize your phone’s performance, while keeping it safe from power-related issues. It also has a feature called Safeguard, which lets you broadcast your location to specific contacts, make calls, and send SOS messages during emergencies.
Having a huge 5000mAh battery, the Zenfone 4 Max can also charge other devices using an OTG cable. It runs on Android Nougat out of the box along with ZenUI 4.0 on top.
