Apart from the new Apple Watch Series 3, Apple has also announced the Apple TV 4K which delivers a highly immersive cinematic experience at home, along with a vast selection of 4K content on iTunes, Netflix, and more.
The Apple TV 4K is equipped with the A10X fusion chip that is also present in the iPad Pro. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 for stunning image quality on any HDR TV along with its built-in 4K video scaler which makes HD content look better on a 4K TV. It also detects a 4K TV’s capabilities, and intelligently optimizes itself for the best picture quality.
If you have an iPhone or an iPad, you can share your photos and videos directly to your big screen with Apple TV via iCloud and AirPlay, and with the upcoming support for AirPlay 2, You’ll be able to control multiple compatible speakers using Apple TV. It can also act as a hub for HomeKit accessories for automated control.
Apple TV 4K will be available in the US starting September 22, and is priced at $179 for the 32GB variant, and $199 for the 64GB variant.
