Lately, Vivo has been hyping up its In-Display Fingerprint scanning technology, even showcasing its first production-ready smartphone with the said feature at CES 2018.
Now, a Smartphone by the name of the X20 Plus UD has been spotted in TENAA, the Chinese Certification Agency. From the looks of it, this one’s basically still an X20 Plus, except for one thing – there’s no physically visible fingerprint sensor.
The phone features a 6.43-inch display with FHD+ resolution, a growing trend in recent devices. It uses an OLED panel, as this seems to be the requirement for the technology to work. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, along with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and packs a 3,800mAh battery.
The X20 Plus UD sports a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup, complimented by a 12MP front camera for all your selfie needs.
According to a leak, the phone will be launched very soon, January 25 to be exact.
