Well, ASUS has certainly thought of this as well, because they’ve now announced the ZenScreen MB16AC, the world’s slimmest and lightest portable monitor, and has already won the iF Product Design and Red Dot Design Awards for 2017.
At 15.6-inches, the ZenScreen only weighs 780 grams and boasts a 6.5mm bezel. That’s 60% less than previous models, giving you even more screen area for your content. Tired of having so many wires around? no problem, as the monitor only needs a single USB cable for both power and video transmission. It also supports both Type-C and Type-A connections for added flexibility.
Of course, something like this needs protection. So it comes with its own smart case that can doubles as a stand when folded. Its award-winning design also includes a pen-hole for inserting the bundled ZenScreen Pen.
The device also features TÜV Rheinland-certified 1 Eye Care Technology which introduces Blue Light Filter and Ficker-Free technologies, protecting the user by reducing blue light emissions by up to 70%. The user can also access four filter settings in the on-screen display.
ASUS Flicker-Free technology provides a more comfortable viewing experience by helping minimize eyestrain, to the benefit of users who are in front of their computers for extended periods of time.
