Apart from the 3-series handsets, TCL also announced another budget device named the Alcatel 1X, a device that’s lackluster on paper, even for a budget phone, but comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Though due to the specs, this one comes with the Go Edition installed.
You get a 5.3-inch 18:9 screen with a resolution of 960 x 480, a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor, 1GB or 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage with microSD card support. Depending on where you’ll buy it, you get an 8MP or a 13MP rear snapper, along with a 5MP front camera. Other features include Dual SIM capability, NFC, USB Type-C, and a fingerprint sensor.
The Alcatel 1X will be sold starting April, for a retail price of €100 for the single-SIM variant, and €110 for the dual SIM variant.
