Today marks a monumental day for Huawei, as they’ve finally launched their much-anticipated P20 series handsets for the PH market. Thanks to a collaboration with Leica, these phones are at the forefront of mobile photography, with perhaps the most advanced optics we’ve seen on a smartphone to date.

p20 seriesThe Huawei P20 on the other hand, uses a Leica dual camera system which uses a 12MP RGB sensor augmented by a second 20MP monochrome sensor. It also has a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display, and a 24MP front camera.

Both devices are powered by the Kirin 970 Neural Processing Unit, which incorporates AI into every aspect of the device and keeping it in top shape to deliver optimal performance while still being power efficient. The P20 has 4GB of RAM while the P20 Pro takes it up to 6GB. Both come with 128GB of storage, and run on Huawei’s EMUI 8.1 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. The P20 packs a 3,400mAh battery, and the P20  Pro has a larger 4,000mAh power pack.

For those who are looking for a more affordable smartphone without compromising on premium features, the Huawei P20 Lite may just be the right phone for you. Like the P20 and P20 Pro, it features a shiny glass back panel that makes it look sleek and elegant.

The device sports a 5.84-inch FHD+ display and is powered by the Kirin 659 octa-core chip, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage expandable with a microSD card. It also has dual rear cameras composed of a 16MP RGB sensor backed by a second 2MP sensor for adding a depth of field effect to your photos.
