In a country where PC and laptop brands like ASUS, Acer and MSI are wildly prominent, another brand is positive on bringing their innovative line of laptops in the Philippines.
Known for their Mate, P-series and Nova smartphone series, Huawei is posed to bring their Huawei Matebook series to the Philippines and Vietnam this year, as confirmed by Jim Xu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Group. Apart from the goal of bringing more premium products in both countries, Xu did not give further details about the actual launch date of Huawei’s laptops although he mentioned that it will be sometime in July 2018.
Launched last February 26, Matebook X Pro hosts a slew of noteworthy innovations like its insane screen-to-body ratio, touchscreen panel and camera placement.
As for the pricing when it was launched 4 months ago, the lower spec variant (i5/8GB/256GB) is at €1499 (around P96,000) while the top sec variant €1,899 (around P122,000).
