At long last, OPPO’s newest flagship has been finally launched in the Philippines. The Find X takes its inspiration from the N3, a device which pushed the boundaries of technology during its time, and improved on the concept.

oppo findx launch 7The result is a smartphone with one of the most beautiful designs I’ve seen. I’m not usually a fan of glossy but my goodness, it looks so good in this. The Find X has a 6.4-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, and is powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

oppo findx launch 5oppo findx launch 4For optics the Find X uses a motorized pop-up section for both the 24MP front camera with 3D AI Selfie and AI Portrait Mode, along with dual 16MP + 20MP rear shooters with AI scene detection. The mechanism only appears when needed, such as when unlocking the device, or as you open the Camera app.

oppo findx launch 6The devices runs on ColorOS 5.1, which on top of Android 8.1 Oreo, and packs a 3,730mAh battery with OPPO’s VOOC flash-charge technology.

oppo findx launch 8OPPO also announced its limited edition Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition, which, in addition to an even more premium design, also has more storage at 512GB, and Super VOOC Flash Charge technology, allowing it to get to full charge in just 35 minutes. It will be available in stores in Q4 of 2018.

The OPPO Find X is currently available for pre-order, and will retail for PhP49,990 when it hits shelves on August 11, 2018. You can can also pre-order from Lazada from July 18 to August 4, at Argomall from July 14 to August 1, and at Shopee from July 21 to August 5, 2018. Each pre-order also comes with premium freebies worth PhP5,000, such as a Rock Space Headset, Charger, and Game Controller. Claiming of pre-orders will start on August 11, 2018.
