ASUS Republic of Gamers is widely known mostly for its graphics cards, motherboards, monitors, and peripherals. While mostly out of the spotlight, they also have a number desktop machines. Just recently, the brand formally introduced its newest warrior on the battlefield, the Huracan G21, created to give you an immersive experience, along with all the perks and conveniences of the ROG ecosystem.

The Huracan is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or 1080 graphics card. For storage options, you can have it configured with a 1TB 7200rpm SATA Hard Disk Drive along with up to a 512GB M.2 SSD, with support for Intel Optane Memory.
One iconic feature of the Huracan is its magnetically-secured side panel that you can flip to increase airflow to the system, and improve cooling and boost performance. It also allows you to showcase the internal components with RGB lighting effects.
The Huracan’s compact 13-liter chassis is designed to symbolize a warrior’s battle scars, and features side panels that can slide, giving you the ability to easily upgrade the graphics card, storage and memory to keep the system up to date. There’s also a hot swap 2.5-inch SSD bay, allowing you to take out and replace the drive in mere seconds.
The Huracan has also got you covered in terms of ports.
Front Ports
- 2x USB 3.1 Gen-2 Type A
- 1x USB 3.1 Gen-1 Type-C
- 1x 2-in-1 audio port (with ESS DAC)
Rear Ports
- 1x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet
- Microphone, Line-Out and Line-In 3.5mm audio jacks
- 1x S/PDIF audio out
- 4x USB 3.1 Gen-1 Type A
- 2x USB 3.1 Gen-2 Type-A
- 2x HDMI
- 2x DisplayPort
- 1x DVI
For media consumption, there’s a built-in ESS Sabre DAC and amplifier which can deliver 32-bit /384kHz audio, and a sample rate that’s up to 8x higher than CD quality.
Of course, an ROG PC would not be complete without support for Aura Sync, which synchronizes various RGB lighting effects throughout compatible components and peripherals.
All of the components inside the Huracan come with a 2-year warranty. The good thing about it is that you don’t really have to talk to different brands if anything goes wrong, all you have to do is go to any of 100 ASUS Service Centers nationwide, or just access their online customer support.
