Nokia 2.1 and 3.1 to Launch in PH this August!

HMD Global is bringing a couple of new Nokia devices to the Philippines. Aimed at the more budget-oriented segment, both  the Nokia 2.1 and 3.1 is set to be available locally on the second half of August.

The Nokia 2.1

The Nokia 2.1 has a 5.5-inch HD display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage, which is expandable with a microSD card. For the cameras, it’s 8MP at the rear, and 5MP at the front. The devices packs a large 4,000mAh battery, and runs on Android Oreo Go Edition.

The Nokia 3.1

The Nokia 3.1 on the other hand, runs on an octa-core MT6750N processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and all content is consumed through a 5.2-inch HD+ screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. For optics, it’s got a 13MP primary camera, and an 8MP snapper at the front.

The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo, and is part of the Android One program, which means that it will have two years of OS upgrades, and three years of security updates.  It houses a 2,990mAh battery.

The Nokia 2.1 will be priced at PhP5,990, while the Nokia 3.1 will only be available in Memoxpress stores nationwide, and will retail for PhP9,990.
