Honor has just introduced its newest flagship, the Note 10. And while most of the specs were already known even before its launch, there’s still more than enough new features to talk about.
The Honor Note 10 has a huge 6.95-inch 18:9 display with FHD+ resolution, and is powered by the flagship Kirin 970, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card. It runs on EMUI 8.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for Super Charge Technology.
It’s also obvious that this phone is gaming-focused, as the chipset also features a liquid cooling solution which Honor calls “The Nine” – composed of 8 layers of dissipation, plus a liquid-cooled pipe. As such, users can expect up to 41% improvement in heat management, and up to 10°C lower temperatures on load. It also features not only GPU Turbo, but CPU Turbo as well. They can even be made to work together using a dedicated hardware button.
For optics, the Honor Note 10 houses a 24MP + 16MP dual rear camera system, along with a 13MP front shooter. As with other Kirin 970-powered devices, AI features such as scene recognition and more are also present.
The Honor Note 10 is priced at CNY 2,799 (around PhP21,700) for the 6GB/64GB variant, CNY 3,199 (around PhP24,800) for the 6GB/128GB variant, and CNY 3,599 (around PhP27,900) for the 8GB/128GB variant. It comes in two colors – Midnight Black and Phantom Blue, with pre-orders already available in China.
