It looks like Vivo is gearing up for the launch of its next mid-range device. Just recently, the company has posted a teaser on its Facebook page, showing the phrases “something out of this world is brewing”, “Go beyond”, and “Arriving soon”. It also shows a spiral galaxy that appears as a fingerprint. A hint that this new device will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
What’s more interesting is that a few days ago, a teaser was also posted online about the upcoming V11 Pro, which is set to be launched on September 6. So this might be a hint of its local launch (maybe just the V11 though). Or, if we think in a more out of the box manner, could it even be the NEX or the newly announced X23?
The V11 Pro is rumored to come with the Snapdragon 660 processor, along with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 3,400mAh battery, and Android 8.1. It will have the same 12MP + 5MP rear camera system from the NEX, while the front will have a new 25MP sensor, presumably with AI-assisted beautification.
