ASUS ROG Phone to Make its PH Debut on October 28!

Announced at COMPUTEX 2018, the ASUS ROG Phone is in many way, a dream come true for mobile gamers – from its striking design, to its powerful specifications, and features that really set it apart, and way above the competition.

Today, ASUS has sent hints that the phone is finally on its way to the Philippines, and is most likely set for a grand unveiling on October 28, 2018, at this year’s Esports and Gaming Summit (ESGS), to be held at the SMX Convention Center.

To give you a refresher, the ASUS ROG Phone boasts a 6-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate for smooth and fluid visuals. Under the hood is no less than a Snapdragon 845 amped up to a clock speed of 2.96GHz. It’s got 8GB of RAM along with 512GB of storage. With X Mode, you can harness the device’s maximum performance without being interrupted by notifications.

Another thing that makes this phone so special, is the addition of a vapor chamber cooling system, which allows it to run in its most optimal condition even in long hours of gaming. The detachable AeroActive Cooler boosts cooling even further by acting as an extra vent. Oh, and it’s got RGB lighting too.

The ROG Phone has two charging ports – one on the side, and one at the bottom. That means you can use it comfortably in any orientation without having to mind the charging cable. Its 4,000mAh battery can deliver up to 7 hours of game time over Wi-Fi, and with ASUS HyperCharge Technology, the device can be charged from 0% to 60% in just 33 minutes.

There are also various accessories made for the ROG Phone. such as a Twinview Dock, which gives you a second screen to check out viewers comments during a livestream. There’s also a Mobile Desktop Dock, and a Gamevice and WiGig Dock that turns the phone into a controller.
