Samsung has just launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e in the US!
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is a 10.5-inch tablet that sits in between the affordable Tab A series sand the flagship S series. It has an AMOLED display with QHD (2560×1600) with 287 ppi. The tablet has very thin bezels around it making it compact despite the screen size.
The tablet has a 13MP, f/2.0 rear camera with contrast-detection autofocus. The rear camera records up to 4K videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera is a 8MP shooter with fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture.
The Galaxy Tab S5e has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor under the hood with two high-performance cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six power-efficient cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It is powered by a 7040mAh battery with USB 3.1 Type-C and supports fast charging. Out of the box, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s OneUI skin over it.
Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and four speakers. The speakers are divided with two at the top and two at the bottom. These are tuned by AKG and has Dolby Atmos technology for surround sound experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e comes in two configurations, a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage which costs USD 399 (about PHP 20,919.57) and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage which costs USD 479 (about PHP 25,113.97). As of writing, it is restricted to Wi-Fi only with LTE-equipped models expected to launch in the near future via major network carriers.
