ASUS Philippines has recently launched its newest gaming laptop under the TUF Gaming series, powered by AMD’s Ryzen processor, and designed to deliver stellar performance and reliability, at a very competitive price.
The TUF Gaming FX505DY, also known as “The Game Changer,” has undergone a series of rigorous tests, and has passed the MIL-STD810G standard for durability.
It sports a 15.6-inch IPS-Level NanoEdge display with 120Hz refresh rate for smooth and fluid visuals, along with an RGB backlit keyboard for that added visual zing.
The trapezoid-cut design on its lid combined with a powerful dual fan design and an anti-dust cooling system all contribute to a longer lifespan for the device.
Under the hood is a AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Processor, backed with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 5400rpm FireCuda SSHD, which offers better performance than a traditional HDD. Handling the graphics-work, is a Radeon RX560X with 4GB of VRAM.
The FX505DY supports DTS Headphone:X, with 7.1-channel virtual surround sound, an audiophile-grade equalizer, and various audio profiles to suit your needs.
