Less than a month after its unveiling in Paris, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro have finally made their debut in the Philippines, along with the more affordable P30 Lite.

Huawei’s P30 series combine the company’s latest innovations – the powerful Kirin 980 makes its way to both the P30 and P30 Pro, while the P30 Lite boasts the capable Kirin 710 mid-range chip. The new P-Series devices are also equipped with improved optics. The P30 Pro to be specific, can do a stunning 50X digital zoom.

Huawei P30 Pro

Both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro sport a new design with a gorgeous gradient finish, and pack FHD+ OLED displays. Thanks to Acoustic Display Technology, the screen can now be used as an earpiece.  As for screen sizes, you get 6.1-inches on the P30, and 6.47-inches on the P30 Pro. Huawei has also equipped both devices with an in-display fingerprint scanner, which now works up to 30% faster.

The P30 Pro boasts a Leica Quad Camera system, which makes use of a 40MP main sensor, a periscope telephoto lens, an ultra-wide angle shooter, and a ToF camera.

This combination gives the device up to 10x Hybrid Zoom and 50x Digital Zoom. Both the main and telephoto sensors are also augmented with OIS. The P30 and P30 Lite retains the triple camera setup. Both have a 32MP front shooter.

The P30 Pro can go up to an ISO of 409,600, which allowins you to capture moments with great detail, even in extremely dark situations. Low light video recording has also been significantly improved.

There’s also a new feature called Dual-View Video, which utilizes two rear cameras to capture a story from two different points of view at the same time – one zoomed in, and one normal.

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro pack  3,650mAh and 4,200mAh batteries respectively. Both are also comaptible with Huawei’s Super Charge Technology (40W on the P30 Pro).
