Samsung Launches Galaxy A40s and A60 in China

I’ve had a joking thought about it a few weeks ago. “Is Samsung filling in everything from the A10 to the A90?” and guess what, they’ve actually just launched the Galaxy A40s and A60 in China.

The Galaxy A40s is basically a re-branded Galaxy M30. It has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, and an Exynos 7904 processor backed by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The device houses three rear shooters – a 13MP main camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP wide-angle snapper. Up front is a 16MP sensor. It packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support and runs on Android Pie out of the box.

The Galaxy A60 on the other hand, sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ LCD Infinity-O display, giving the device a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. The punch hole houses a 32MP front snapper.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on Android Pie and packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast-charging via a USB-C port.

For optics, the Galaxy A60 also boasts a triple rear camera system composed of a 25MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle shooter, and a 5MP depth sensor.

For pricing, It’s  CNY 1,499 (around PhP11,500) for the Galaxy A40s, and CNY 1,999 (around PhP15,400) for the Galaxy A60.
