It looks like we won’t have to wait long before the mid-range segment can get a taste of 5G, as an alleged internal document has recently surfaced online, revealing the new Snapdragon 675, which supposedly comes with a 5G modem.

According to the document, the Snapdragon 675 will be built on a 7nm process, just like the 855. It’ll be an octa-core chip which uses a 1+1+6 configuration, with clock speeds expected to be at 2.9GHz, 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz respectively. That’s most likely 2 high-performance cores, and 6 high-efficiency cores.

It will come with the Adreno 620 GPU which is clocked slightly lower at 750MHz, compared to 825MHz of the Adreno 618 on the Snapdragon 730. There’ll also be a dedicated NPU that will take care of AI-related operations, clocked at 1GHz.

The Snapdragon 735 is also equipped with the same Spectra 350 ISP on the 730, which enables 4K 30fps and 1080p 120fps video recording.

As this is still a rumor, we highly advise you to take it with a grain of salt.
