Realme, amidst the release of the Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro, shows love for its older devices as the company announced the update schedule for Android Pie beta and Color OS 6 for their other devices in June.
The first of smartphone that will receive the Android Pie beta update is set to be the Realme 2 Pro which is scheduled to arrive by May 15, while the Realme 1 and Realme U1 will get it on June 5. Lastly, the Realme 2 and Realme C1 will receive the update on June 15. According to the company, the transition period from beta to final build should take 15 to 20 days.
Some features that the Color OS 6 will bring include a Digital Wellbeing feature and Hyper Boost 2.0. While the Realme 3 Pro will receive camera improvements to its Chroma Boost and Nightscape modes and improvements to the performance of the slow-mo video.
Realme mentioned that a stock recovery tool is already in the works in case of any problems with flashing custom ROMs.
