Under the hood, the Xperia 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Its rear cameras are the same trio of cameras on the Xperia 1, these being a 12MP main sensor partnered with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. The new phone, like the Xperia 1, also brings Creator Mode. The newer of the two phones has Smart Connectivity which allows the device to switch to LTE when it predicts any compromise in the wireless connectivity.
