Vivo is set to unveil its newest smartphone for the Philippine market today, through an exclusive event to be held in the City of Taguig. Welcome, the V17 Pro.

vivo v17 pro 133V17 Pro boasts takes its lessons from its predecessor, and builds on it, starting with its seamless design. It packs a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Ultra FullView display with Gorilla Glass 6 protection and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 AIE, backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

vivo v17 pro 121For optics, the device boasts a quad rear camera system that uses a 48MP main sensor, along with an 8MP sensor for wide-angle shots, and a couple of 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots.

vivo v17 pro 43 1Perhaps the most notable update to this device, is in its front camera, which, apart from being in an elevating mechanism, also uses a combination of a 32MP main sensor, along with an 8MP wide-angle shooter. This adds a lot to the device’s flexibility in terms of adapting to shooting conditions.

vivo v17 pro 55Other features include 4K 30fps video recording, Super Night Mode, AI Scene Identification, AR Stickers, HDR Portrait, an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, and Multi-Turbo Acceleration for an enhanced gaming experience.

Vivo V17 Pro runs on Funtouch OS 9.1 on top of Android 9, and packs a 4,100mAh battery with Dual-Engine Fast Charging.

Pricing and Pre-Order

Vivo V17 Pro is priced at PhP21,999 and will be available for pre-order from October 10 to October 18, 2019. It’s set to hit shelves on October 19, 2019.
