Beyerdynamic has just announced its new Active Noise Cancelling headphones – the Lagoon ANC Traveller and Explorer. Don’t let the Traveller and Explorer names confuse you, these are just names to refer to the black and brown versions, respectively.
In case you haven’t heard of the brand, Beyerdynamic is one of the more established names in the audiophile sphere. The German audio equipment manufacturer has been in the audio business for about 95 years and hasn’t stopped since.
The Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC is the company’s Bluetooth headphone offering with Active Noise Cancelling. Without the cable, the headphones weigh in at 283g and feature aptX LL, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs. It boasts up to 45 hours of battery runtime without ANC and up to 24.5 hours with ANC.
Despite it being a Bluetooth headset, the Lagoon ANC can be hooked up via 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C cables.
The headphones feature a light guide system on the inside and touchpad control on the outside. The light guide system informs the user of the battery level (green for max, orange/yellow for medium, red for low battery), left and right cup, and when it’s pairing (blue). The company has also integrated the Lagoon ANC with MOSAYC app which helps with sound personalization to help make the sound profile suited for your hearing.
The Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC is available for PHP 23,800 on Lazada or its physical store at Audible Illusion in Timog, Quezon City.
