Huawei Mobile Services 1Earlier today at the Huawei Developer Conference APAC 2019, the brand confirmed that it’s bringing a number of its exclusive service to other countries, in order to enhance the software experience for its users.

Huawei Member Center, which is a central hub for HONOR and Huawei users for accessing rewards, as well as the latest updates.

Huawei Mobile Cloud allows users to sync contacts, photos, videos, notes and other information to the cloud as backup. There are no options for photos and videos just yet, so we may be looking at major feature upgrades here.

We did check our Nova 5T, and we were able to download Member Center from the App Gallery, and activate cloud sync from the settings menu,

While it was not available on our Nova 5T, some Mate 30 users were able to get a hold of a special reward which yields 1200 HUAWEI points, which can be used to purchase apps in the App Gallery.

It has also confirmed that its own music streaming and video streaming services are also set to arrive in other markets as well. Both Music and Video apps also already available on our Nova 5T, so again, we may be looking at feature updates. Although there’s no confirmation of the actual business model to be used, we do expect a per-month subscription to high quality music.

As for video, it may also involve monthly subscriptions depending on the quality of content you’d like.
