Persona 5 Royal is set to take your cash (and your heart) on March 31, 2020

Contrary to initial reports pointing to a February release, we’ve received word from none other than the PlayStation Blog itself that Persona 5 Royal is officially dropping on March 31, 2020. In true Phantom Thieves fashion, the announcement was accompanied by a calling card!

p5r calling cardPersona 5 Royal will be launching with a couple of special physical editions – a Phantom Thieves Edition, Launch Edition – and multiple special digital bundles which are detailed below.

First off, the Phantom Thieves Edition, which will set you back around PHP4,500-5,000 roughly, will include a replica of the official Joker mask with a stand, a collectors box, art book, soundtrack, limited edition steel case, a dynamic theme, and the base game.

p5r collectorsNext is the launch edition, costing around PHP3,000-3,500 roughly, which will contain the limited edition steel case and a dynamic theme.

For those of you on the #TeamDigital side of the fence, note that all digital pre-orders will come with an original Persona 5 Royal theme as a bonus and all the original Persona 5 DLC will be free for all Persona 5 Royal players. The digital bundles are as follows:

Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition (roughly around PHP5,000-5,500) – Includes the game and all DLC bundles plus 6 additional costume packs.

Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition (roughly around PHP3,500-4,000) – Includes the game and the Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle.

The Persona 5 Royal DLC Bundles will be available for purchase separately, with the following price points:

  • Kasumi Costume Bundle (roughly PHP750)
  • Battle Bundle (roughly PHP500)
  • Persona Bundle (roughly PHP500)
  • DLC Bundle (roughly PHP3,000-3,500)
