In celebration of the holiday season, PayMaya recently launched its “PayMaya It Forward” campaign, to inspire Filipinos to “Pay it Forward” through random acts of kindness in the spirit of digital and financial inclusion.
One small act of kindness can go a long way – regardless of whether its sharing a meal, helping those in need, or donating to those affected by natural disasters.
Spearheading the movement are content creators like Ramon Bautista, Carlo Ople, Patrice Averilla, David Guison, Angel Dei, and many more. Each one embracing the movement and spreading the word through the hashtag #PayMayaItForward.
If you have a PayMaya account, you can also Pay it Forward each time you pay via PayMaya QR by matching the amount of cashback you’ll get from the ongoing promo, and donating it to support youth education.
From December 16 to 31, 2019, PayMaya users can get 1%, 10%, and 100% cashback for every PayMaya QR transaction at partner establishments. Every successful cashback means a chance to help a Filipino youth achieve his dreams through education.
The promo beneficiary for this campaign is the Gawad Kalinga School for Experiential and Entrepreneurial Development (GK-SEED), an institution that grants scholarships to young people from poor communities across the country who want to pursue a two-year TESDA-accredited course on social entrepreneurship.
