The biggest that Chandolu revealed was that the new Poco device is confirmed to arrive by March 2020. He also assured that the brand will continue to focus on value-for-money smartphones with powerful SoCs and large RAM. Having just been independent, Poco will continue to rely on MIUI in terms of software goes.
Despite the independence from Xiaomi, Poco will still utilize the supply chain and data center of Xiaomi. This includes after-sales service, which will also be done through Xiaomi.
Chandolu reiterated that the brand will be focused on the Indian market for now. The international market expansion, he said, will take more time. In addition, they will continue to operate online but there are plans of establishing offline channels further down the road.
Ram found his love and appreciation for writing in 2015 having started in the gaming and esports sphere for GG Network.
