FUJIFILM has just launched the FUJIFILM X-T4, the latest camera to join its X-series range of mirrorless cameras. It looks similar to its predecessor, the X-T3 but among the features of the X-T4 is in-body image stabilization (IBIS).
IBIS is a first for the X-T series and only the second camera to feature for the company. It uses a refined layout of the shutter’s shock-absorbing structure and new gyro sensors. This helps in things like night photography or action photography like sports. It allows users to broaden their lens selection with support for 18 out of 29 XF/XC lenses. It will benefit those that shoot videos while in motion.
Speaking of videos, the X-T4 is capable of recording Full HD high-speed video at 240P. Stills and videos have also been separated for a simpler experience switching between either mode while still retaining settings for either mode. Along with IBIS, the camera also has an Image Stabilization Boost mode that helps mitigate gentle camera shakes for shooting without a tripod.
The X-T4 packs the NP-W235 battery which is said to last approximately 500 frames per charge in Normal mode. This is more than doubled when used with the optional VG-XT4 battery grip.
For those that love film or a film-vibe, it has a Film Simulation mode, ETERNA Bleach Bypass which as the name suggests, simulates film processing technique. This offers low saturation and high contrast.
Availability and pricing have yet to be announced. To know more about the FUJIFILM X-T4, visit the official website.
