Sony, a staple brand in audio and video, recently launched the newest addition to its line of Handycam Camcorders.
Made for content creators and vloggers, the FDR-AX43 is a 4K Handycam which features a built-in gimbal mechanism, along with Sony’s Balanced Optical SteadyShot technology. This allows it to capture smooth, natural, and high-quality video footage without any unnecessary shakes.
The device packs a 1/2.5-type Exmor R CMOS image sensor and BIONZ X image processing engine for unparalleled image quality even in low-light. With a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T zoom lens with a focal length of 25.8mm, it’s capable of 20x optical zoom, and 30x Clear Image Zoom on 4K (40x for HD).
If offers high-bitrate shooting, Fast Intelligent AF, and is equipped with three mic capsules for advanced sound quality, as well as a flip-screen for selfie recording.
You get up to 235 minutes of continuous recording time with the supplied battery, and the new Highlight Movie Maker allows you to create short movies in-camera at 4K or HD quality without any need for post-production editing.
