Final Fantasy 7 Remake has gone gold ahead of its scheduled release date

Now that everyone has their Nostalgia glasses on thanks to the demo that literally dropped out of nowhere, the hype for the upcoming remake of one of the most beloved RPG’s is at an all time high. And with good reason. the demo was a fantastic teaser to what we can look forward to in about a month.

That is, without any more delays, right?

You can rest easy as Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the remake, has indeed confirmed that the game has gone gold in an interview with 4gamer.

“Yes, it’s all right now. We needed a little more time for some of the last quality improvements, but it has already gone gold and there won’t be any further delays,”

What exactly does that mean? Simply put, development for the game is done and we can hopefully be assured that no more delays will happen. Cross your fingers and hope for the best!

While waiting for the inevitable April 10 release date, bask in the glory of the full opening movie!
