This morning, I came across this live stream from Android Zone. The streamer, who is a promoter of Android Zone, was getting average concurrent viewers of 80 people. The 30-minute live stream was packed with information, and the level of interaction she was getting throughout the session was impressive.

There’s so much to learn from the video, which should serve as a benchmark for other promoters, regardless of the brand they are selling.

  1. Realme is an active participant in the live stream. For promoters or dealers, it would be nice to talk to the brand you wish to promote on your stream. I asked their Marketing Lead, Eason de Guzman, about the video, and he said, “we’re teaching our promoters and sales how to do livestreaming.”In the case of Realme, they are very active in training the promoters and dealers on how to use the available tools to still be able to sell their products despite the ramifications of ECQ.
  2. Product Mastery is key! Treat the camera as the “person” you’re actually talking with at stores, and discuss about their needs and the features of the device you’re promoting. It was very clear that “ate girl” in the video was very mindful of the features of Realme C3, and she was able to carry out her task with flying colors.
  3. Know the technicalities of navigating through your live streaming software. Streaming can be very tasking. If you’re using XSplit or OBS, it is essential to understand how everything works and all the features so you can maximize your streaming experience.OBS, while it is free, can be very tricky to use. XSplit is much easier to use, but you will have to spend a meager $24.95 for a 3 month-subscriber. Try it with our 10% discount code (XPLITXGP).
  4. As mentioned earlier, the Android Zone representative had around 80 CCV (concurrent viewers), which is a very good indication of organic reach (and possibly even engagement). Use opportunities like this to ask questions and encourage viewers to consider your products.Realme 2

While brick and mortar shops are closed during ECQ, this new trend of exploring other ways to still promote and sell products is very promising. Now is the time to maximize your efforts and try it out too.
