Xiaomi announced a new device under the Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 9, as well as the global variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, the Redmi Note 9 Pro. (Yes, you read that right.)
Redmi Note 9
The Redmi Note 9 has a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display and runs on a Helio G85 SoC backed by 3GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. It houses a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast-charging and runs on Android 10.
At the back of the device is a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a couple of 2MP sensors for macro and depth. Tucked in its punch hole is a 13MP shooter.
Other features include an IR Blaster and NFC.
Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global)
The global variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS screen. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 720G, 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage.
It also boasts a quad-cameras at the rear, headed by a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront is a 16MP snapper.
Redmi Note 9 Pro global variant packs a 5,020mAh battery with fast-charging.
