Quick Analysis

V19 Neo’s Super AMOLED screen will deliver more punchy colors and has better protection thanks to Gorilla Glass 6 but the realme 6’s 90Hz display will deliver a better experience, overall.

The Snapdragon 675 is an 11nm SoC, while the G90T is a 12nm SoC, which means you get slightly better power efficiency on the former.

However, the latter offers a slightly higher clock speed and has a faster GPU, which means you’ll most likely get better gaming performance.

The V19 Neo has a slightly larger battery capacity, but there are many factors to consider when it comes to battery life, apart from sheer capacity alone. The realme 6 on the other hand, boasts faster charging speed.

For the fingerprint sensor, I’d always go with a physical one, but then again, in-display ones have certainly become faster and better over time.

The larger main sensor on the realme 6 should be able to capture more details, though the slightly larger aperture of the wide-angle unit on the V19 Neo may lead to better low-light shots. Then again, we still have to factor in the software.

As for selfies, the larger sensor on the V19 Neo should yield more details in general. But then again, we know for a fact that software also plays a big role in terms of processing images.

Initial Verdict

If I was to immediately choose on the fly between these two, I’d say the realme 6 makes for a more sensible choice. The V19 is good in its own right, but it’s a using an SoC that’s been used for two generations now.

While the V19 has a slightly larger battery capacity, the realme 6 should be able to make up for it with faster charging.

For camera, the V19 should perform slightly better for wide-angle shots, but the larger sensor on the realme 6 means you get better details.

Then of course, the realme 6 offers a more competitive price for what it brings to the table. Both devices are good in their own right, but if we consider the financial situation today, I think that spending less for more isn’t a bad thing.

The vivo V19 Neo is now available for pre-order via Lazada and Shopee, while the realme 6 is currently available for purchase in Lazada.
