Legion’s highly-anticipated gaming smartphone finally made its debut today, confirming a lot of the leaks and rumors prior to the launch.
Legion Phone Duel boasts a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and 240Hz touch sampling rate, and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC backed by up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It employs two heat pipes for its cooling solution.
For optics, you get a 64MP main shooter along with a 16MP ultra-wide unit on a camera module that’s placed in the middle of the rear panel. The mid-mounted pop-up snapper uses a 20MP sensor.
The device features pressure-sensitive side triggers, four microphones, Lenovo’s U-Engine dual X-axis vibration motor which delivers over 100 and 13 types of long and low-response vibration patterns respectively, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G support.
Legion Phone Duel packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast-charging, which means a full charge in 30 minutes. Lenovo also announced a few accessories, including a dedicated dock for connecting to an external display.
