Vivo has just announced its latest 5G midrange phone – the vivo Y51S in China.
The vivo Y51S is built around a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with a punch hole for its 8MP front camera. Around the back, it has a triple camera setup comprised of a 48MP main camera, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. In addition, it is able to record up to 4K resolution videos.
Powering the new mid-ranger is a Samsung Exynos 880 5G chipset accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone gets its juice from a 4500mAh battery cell with support for 18W fast charging via micro USB.
It runs on Funtouch OS 10.5 on top of Android 10 out of the box and has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The vivo Y51S comes in black, blue, and white for CNY 1,798. It will go on sale in China starting July 29 but pre-orders have already begun.
