Right on schedule, OPPO has debuted its newest premium midrange offering – Reno4 in the Philippines via a special livestream event featuring Careless Music Manila’s artists – Nadine Lustre, KingWaw, Curtismith, Massiah, and Astrokidd – Young Filipino icons for music and self-expression.
OPPO Reno4 comes in Galactic Blue and Space Black. The former in particular, sports what they call the Reno Glow design which is a combination of a fingerprint-resistant texture and subtle glitter details, giving the device a vibrant and glossy look.
The device has a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen and houses a Snapdragon 720G SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
For optics, you get a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP monochrome unit. In its punch hole are a 32MP main unit and a 2MP depth sensor.
Camera features include 4K video recording (rear), Ultra Night Selfie, Ultra Dark Mode, 960 fps Smart Slow Motion, Ultra Steady Video 3.0 for high-intensity shots, Front Steady Video, and Night Flare Portrait, which uses a mix of transparent and bright blurred nightspots on the background and brightens the face of the subject for a vibrant bokeh effect.
Other features include Smart Spying Prevention which hides the content when someone is peeking on the screen, Smart AirControl for picking up calls and scrolling through Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media apps with just a wave of your hand, and Smart Always-On Display, which keeps the screen on so long as you’re looking at it.
OPPO Reno4 runs on ColorOS 7.2 on top of Android 10 and packs a 4,015mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge that gives it a 50% charge in 20 minutes, and a full charge in 57 minutes. The device also boasts a Super Power Saving Mode which gives you 1.5 hours of messaging or calls with just 5% of battery.
Pre-Order, Pricing, and Availability
OPPO Reno4 is priced at PhP18,990. Those who will pre-order from August 15 to 21 will get a FREE Rock Space EB100 TWS Earbuds worth PhP2,899. The device will be available in all OPPO Concept Stores, dealer partners, via Lazada, and Shopee starting August 22.
