Huawei has just announced the arrival of the Huawei Y8p in the Philippines. It boasts triple cameras led by a 48MP main, a 4000mAh cell, and a Kirin 710F SoC. The company first unveiled the phone in mid-May this year.
The Huawei Y8p measures in at 7.7mm thick and weighs at 163g. The phone is built around a 6.3-inch OLED Dewdrop display. The dewdrop houses the 16MP selfie camera, while the fingerprint scanner is found under the display.
Around the back along with the 48MP main camera are a 2MP depth-sensing lens and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with up to 120-degree field of view. The phone also supports Night Mode long exposure to help in darker environments.
The Kirin 710F chipset is accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with expansion up to 256GB.
While the 4000mAh battery has AI Power Saving and 10W fast charging support. Out of the box, the Huawei Y8p runs on EMUI 10.1 on top of Android 10.
The Huawei Y8p is available in two colors – Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black for PHP 12,999. The first 200 buyers via Shopee until September 8 will get a Huawei Freelace worth PHP 3,490.
