realme has just unveiled the newest additions to its well-loved mid-range lineup – realme 7, and realme 7 Pro. Both devices boast a new design and offer much-welcome improvements in just about every aspect.
realme 7 Pro
The Pro variant sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that gives it a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8% and is protected by Gorilla Glass. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 720G SoC, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X Dual-Channel RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, expandable with a microSD card.
For imaging, it’s got a second-generation 64MP camera that uses the Sony IMX682 sensor which allows for up to 10x zoom. Accompanying the main sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a portrait lens, and a macro lens.
Camera features include UIS Video Stabilization, UIS Max Video Stabilization Starry Mode, Super Nightscape Mode, Pro Nightscape Mode, Ultra Nightscape Video, Ultra-Wide Angle Video, and AI Color Portrait Video which turns the background into grey while highlighting and preserving the colors of the subject in focus. Video recording is capped at 4K/30fps.
Apart from AI Beautification, the 32MP wide-angle front camera also features Nightscape Selfie, UIS Stabilization, and Portrait Bokeh.
realme has added Night Filters to spice up night shots – Cyberpunk, Flamingo, and Modern Gold. Other features include Dual Speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Certification.
realme 7 Pro runs realme UI on top of Android 10 and packs a 4,500mAh battery in a two-cell configuration with 65W SuperDart Charge. That means 0 to 100% in 34 minutes. It’s also Quick Charge and Power Delivery compatible (18W).

The vanilla realme 7 has a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 405 nits of brightness, and protected by Gorilla Glass. The screen-to-Body ratio is 90.5%. It’s the first phone that runs on the new Helio G95 SoC, and packs up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
It also uses a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor on its quad-camera system, along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a portrait lens, and a macro lens. It also shares some of the features on the Pro like Starry Mode, Super Nightscape, Ultra Wide Video, UIS and UIS Max Video Stabilization. Video recording is capped at 4K/30fps.
The 16MP front snapper uses a Sony IMX471 sensor and also features Nightscape mode and Portrait Mode, among others.
The device also runs realme UI on top of Android 10 and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge technology.
