It hasn’t even been long since we saw the overseas launch of realme’s highly-awaited mid-range lineup – realme 7 and 7 Pro, and the company has already brought them over to the Philippines, ready to be experienced by consumers.’
realme 7 series was introduced locally through an online event that highlighted the various features and capabilities of each device.
realme 7 Pro
Focused on photography and content creation, realme 7 Pro has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and delivers a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. It’s got a Snapdragon 720G SoC, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X Dual-Channel RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For optics, it uses a second-generation 64MP camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor for up to 10x zoom along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a portrait lens, and a macro shooter. Upfront is a 32MP wide-angle snapper with a dedicated Nightscape mode.
Camera features include UIS/UIS Max Video Stabilization, Starry Mode, Super Nightscape Mode, Ultra Nightscape Video, Ultra Wide-Angle Video, and AI Color Portrait that keeps the background color while the subject in focus stays colored for emphasis.
You can also take advantage of the new artistic filters for Nightscape mode – Modern Gold, Cyberpunk, and Flamingo.
realme 7 Pro runs realme UI on Android 10 and packs a 4,500mAh battery (two cells) with support for 65W SuperDart Charge. That means zero to full in only 34 minutes.

realme 7
realme 7, on the other hand, is made with gaming in mind and uses a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and is the first smartphone to run on the new Helio G95 SoC by MediaTek. It’s got up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
It basically runs the same camera setup as the Pro – a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a pair of 2MP sensors (monochrome/portrait + macro). It swaps out the 32MP front camera for a 16MP sensor.
The device also shares some of the camera features on the Pro – Super Nightscaper, Starry Mode, Ultra-Wide Video, and UIS/UIS Max Video Stabilization. Video recording is capped at 4K 30fps.
It also runs realme UI on top of Android 10 and has a larger 5,000mAh battery with up to 30W Dart Charge support.
