Smart has set another milestone in mobile technology and innovations, as it recently held the country’s first 5G-powered sports broadcast at the start of the PBA All-Filipino Cup last October 11, in Clark Freeport in Pampanga.
With fiber-like speeds on mobile devices, Smart 5G makes it so much simpler and efficient to capture and broadcast all the hardcourt action. As such, fans will be able to enjoy more angles and content on their favorite teams and players.
Smart 5G also powered by the ball-tracking cameras and even heat-sensing cameras that are constantly monitoring the health and safety of all the members of the 12-team league and the working teams behind the PBA.
Smart recently became the first mobile services provider in the country to roll out 5G sites in key locations nationwide with an aim of making the Philippines a ‘Smart 5G Country.’
All Smart Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers can now experience fiber-like speeds on their 5G-certified devices at Smart 5G sites in the following areas:
- Makati Central Business District (CBD)
- Bonifacio Global City CBD
- Araneta City
- Mall of Asia Bay Area
