There are reports in South Korea that Samsung won’t be including a charger and earphones with the Samsung S21 when it launches next year. This is a move that Apple started when it launched the iPhone 12 series.
The final decision is still pending but if it does pass, we’ll be seeing the next flagship from Samsung with only a USB-C cable in the box (along with the phone, of course). In addition, it brings up the question of whether or not the company will do the same with the rest of its phones in the future.
The Galaxy S series has always had earphones, a charging brick, and a USB cable since the very first Galaxy S phone came out.
Keep in mind, this is only coming from reports and rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. We’ll have to wait upon the official announcement from Samsung, which we assume will be when the Galaxy S21 is announced.
