The 2nd iteration of the 10.1 is equipped with WQXGA Super Clear LCD with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Its stunning 10-inch display is perfect to create and consume content! Under its hood is a 1.9 Ghz A15 Quad Core + 1.3 Ghz A7 Quad Core Processor (2 quad core = octa core) with 3GB RAM.

According to Eric Sulit, Business Unit Director SEPCO IT & Mobile Division:

“The new GALAXY Note 10.1 is the most progressive 10-inch tablet, delivering the best viewing and multitasking experiences. It is the most recent demonstration of Samsung Mobile’s focus on constant product innovation to stay aligned with shifting consumer interests.”

A Huge Leap from the 1st Note 10.1

The 2014 Note 10.1 has 4 times the pixel density of the original Note 10.1. This is the first thing I’ve noticed during the technical demo. Texts and photos look better on this device compared to the original tablet.

The tablet is clearly defined as the best tool to consume media. Its magazine style UX is equally impressive as its premium smartphone counterpart, the Galaxy Note 3. It even borrowed the design characteristics of the latter – warm and textured back cover with stitching.

In addition, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) will also include a Samsung Apps widget that will direct users to additional beneficial content provided by Samsung. The widget will live on the home screen and include a “Special Offer for GALAXY” section that will highlight unique, country-based content for users.
