ASUS has announced the return of some of the company’s popular laptops at CES 2021 like the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE and the ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17.
A new interactive experience called ROG Citadel XV was also announced and is now free on Steam. ASUS also announced the refreshed TUF Gaming A15, A17, and ROG Zephyrus G14 laptops.
ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE returns from the success of last year and comes new-and-improved with up to the latest AMD Ryzen 9 CPU coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU. The AAS Plus cooling system also features redesigned fans that help dissipate up to 165W of combined processor power.
The updated ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE comes with choices between a 4K 120Hz panel and a 300Hz Full HD alternative display.
Like its 2019 predecessor, it combines an upgraded 15.6-inch main display and a 14.1-inch ROG ScreenPad Plus making it perfect for multitaskers.
ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17
Meanwhile, the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17 still continue to feature one of the world’s fastest laptop displays with up to 300Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response rate. A WQHD panel at 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response rate option is also available.
The laptops are powered by up to the latest AMD Ryzen 9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU. In addition, they come with 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The new Strix SCAR laptops also offer an optical-mechanical keyboard option.
ROG Citadel XV
ROG Citadel XV is a new interactive experience to showcase ROG’s latest line of gear and technologies. It introduces the player to the character sand stories underpinning the ROG visual universe.
Players can freely explore four themed demo rooms to see the latest gear to be available in 2021.
