HMD Global has just announced the Nokia 1.4, the successor to the Nokia 1.3.
The Nokia 1.4 has more screen real estate with a 6.51-inch panel with 720p resolution compared to the 5.71-inch display on its predecessor. In addition, the newer device packs a larger 4000mAh battery.
The new Nokia device has a 5MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch on the front. At back is a fingerprint scanner and a dual-camera system comprised of an 8MP main snapper and a 2MP macro lens housed in a circular camera module. The phone relies on the processing algorithms of Google’s Camera Go App for features like Night Mode and Portrait mode.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset coupled with 1/2/3GB RAM and 16/32/64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Powering the device is an equally larger 4000mAh battery compared to the 3000mAh of the Nokia 1.3. The 4000mAh cell supports 5W wired fast charging and charges via microUSB.
The 1.4 runs on Android 11 Go out of the box and features two nano-SIM slots, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia 1.4 comes in three colors – Charcoal, Dusk, and Fjord. Its price starts at EUR 99 for the base 1GB/16GB configuration.
