Samsung has just announced the Galaxy M12 in Vietnam with a 6000mAh battery pack. The massive battery cell charges via a USB-C port and supports 15W fast charging. The Galaxy M12 itself is the successor to the Galaxy M11.
The new device is built around a 6.5-inch PLS LCD panel with a 720p+ resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel houses an 8MP sensor in its Infinity-V notch.
Around the back, the new Galaxy M-series device features four cameras with a 48MP main lens, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP snapper. The lenses are housed in a square camera module on the upper left while the LED flash is found right below the camera module.
The phone is listed to be powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor, which is believed to be an Exynos 850. The SoC is joined by 3/4/6 RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage, making it quite flexible in terms of memory configuration. The storage can also be expanded via a microSD card.
The device supports dual SIM cards with 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz b/g/n), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou and Galileo positioning. The device also has a 3.5 audio jack and its fingerprint scanner is side-mounted.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 comes in three colors – Blue, Black, and Jade and is currently available in Vietnam. Currently only the 32GB and 64GB variants are available at physical stores. Pricing is still to be announced.
