According to leakster IceUniverse on Twitter, “We may have to wait 5 months to see Flip 3 and Fold 3”. This, of course, refers to the two foldable devices of Samsung, well at least, the successors of the Galaxy Z Fold2 and Z Flip 5G which are said to be unveiled in July 2021.
If this is to be believed, it’s a month ahead of the usual annual Unpacked event which Samsung typically schedules in August, where it usually reveals the next generation of Galaxy Note devices. Last year, it was when the Z Fold 2 was unveiled as well.
There have been speculations and leaks going around that a new generation Galaxy Note won’t be unveiled this year. If both leaks and speculations about the Galaxy Note series and the foldable devices are to be believed, the South Korean company could be filling the void, or even possibly replacing the Note series, with the Galaxy Z Fold3 (and the Z Flip3?). After all, they did include S Pen support for the recently announced Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, the South Korean company is also expected to introduce two more foldables this year with one of them rumored to be the Galaxy Fold3 Ultra.
Keep in mind that these are speculations and rumors, so do take the news with a grain of salt.
