realme has just unveiled the realme X7 Pro Ultra (or Extreme depending on the machine translation but we’ll go with Ultra), the latest device in the realme X7 series initially released in September 2020.
The realme X7 Pro Ultra has a 6.55-inch FHD AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is an overall downgrade from the X7 Pro with a FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Ultra variant though has a curved display compared to the flat panel of the X7 Pro.
In the optics department, the X7 Pro Ultra shares pretty much the same cameras minus the depth sensor. That means it retains the 32MP front sensor and a 64MP main rear camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP macro lens.
The new Ultra variant also shares the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset at the helm but bumps up the memory to up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It also has the same 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support via USB-C but is slimmer and lighter than the X7 Pro.
The Ultra runs on realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, VC liquid cooling, NFC, and 5G support.
The realme X7 Pro Ultra comes in two colors and its base memory configuration of 8GB/128GB is priced at CNY 2,399, while the top specc-ed 12GB/256GB variant will go for CNY 2,699.

That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
