Mi fans in the Philippines just got another reason to celebrate as the brand’s gaming-focused smartphone, Black Shark 4, is set to debut the country very soon!
Black Shark 4 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 20:9 Full-Screen E4 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate,1,500 nits of brightness, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. Under its shell, a 7nm Snapdragon 870 is at the helm, along with either 8GB or 12GB of Dual Channel LPDDR5 RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For improved thermals, internal components are placed in between two liquid cooling units, resulting in a 30% overall increase in heat dissipation. For added controls, you also get ultra-responsive shoulder triggers which can be customized depending on what game you’re playing.
For optics, the device boasts a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 5MP shooter. There’s also a 20MP front snapper. Camera features include AI Beauty Mode, Slow Motion Video Recording at up to 960fps, and 4K video recording.
Black Shark 4 runs JOYUI 12.5 with Shark Space version 4.0 on top of Android 11 and packs two 2,250mAh cells for a total battery capacity of 4,500mAh with support for 120W fast-charging via a USB-C port.

Black Shark 4 comes in two colors – Mirror Black and Pale Grey and will be available in three variants – 8GB+128GB, 12GB+128GB, and 12GB+256GB. Pre-orders start on April 28, 2021, via Shopee.
