nubia has announced that it will be introducing the RedMagic 6R on May 27 on Weibo, further expanding the RedMagic 6 series. This is the first time the company will be unveiling an R model as well.
The RedMagic 6R is believed to be the nubia NX666J smartphone that was recently certified on TENAA and if it is, it will have a non-gaming aesthetic. In addition, it is then also expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB internal storage, and at least one 64MP camera.
The same device also received its 3C certification with a 4100mAh battery and 55W fast charging support, which is a far cry from the 120W in the RedMagic 6 Pro.
It is expected to be a more affordable member of the RedMagic 6 series.
RedMagic has also recently announced that it will now be shipping to the Philippines which should make this release even more interesting.
