vivo launches its much-awaited mid-range duo – the V21 series in the Philippines today, June 5, 2021, cementing its brand rapport with the growing tribe of vivo consumers.
Available in all vivo stores nationwide and official e-commerce sites, the new handsets include the V21 5G and V21e – both feature-rich and selfie-focused devices that also boast serious specs beneath the exterior, delivering a seamless user experience.
V21 Series in Detail
V21 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G SoC, enabling users to launch apps, including top games, quickly. This SoC is engineered for balance and efficiency and allows users to enjoy seamless 5G connectivity and longer battery life. It also enables the phone’s large cameras, built-in image accelerators, and noise reduction technology to jive harmoniously and bring their magic when taking photos and videos. All this while the CPU’s integrated AI processing unit works in the background to facilitate enhancements that improve details and adds effects.
V21e, on the other hand, runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. An 8-core chipset that fully supports advanced camera and graphics processing, as well as entertainment features and fast charging.
Both pack 8GB + 3GB Extended RAM Technology, which means they can tap on their internal storage for 3GB of additional space for RAM, allowing users to run more apps at once at consistently fast speeds. Both promise user-friendly, expert-grade camera features that allow for professional-looking portraits in a snap.
V21 5G is just 7.29mm thin, standing out as the thinnest 5G-capable smartphone in the market today. It comes in two colorways – Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue (AG Matte Glass). V21e, meanwhile, is just as gorgeous, at 7.38mm width, in two colorways as well – Roman Black and Diamond Flare (Ultra-thin AG glass).
Delivering on its promise of being “the new portrait master”, the V21 5G provides users with top-notch features such as Dual Selfie Spotlight, Dual-View Video, and Ultra-Stable Selfie Video, all anchored on vivo’s reliable 44MP OIS Self Portrait front camera, and its 64MP OIS Night Camera.
On the other hand, the much-more affordable vivo V21e enables users to enjoy photography with Super Night Selfie, Dual-View Video, and Motion Autofocus, backed by its 44MP Eye Autofocus Self Portrait camera, and 64MP Night Camera.
The two devices boast a top-notch AMOLED displays with HDR10+ certification. The V21 5G features 90Hz refresh rate, while the V21e has a 60Hz refresh rate. vivo V21 5G and V21e 4G are priced at PhP23,999 and PhP17,999, respectively. Those who will purchase the latter until June 15 can get a very special treat – as much as PhP1,000 off, bringing the price down to only PhP16,999.
