realme just announced two new versions of its realme GT, a Master Edition, and a Master Explorer Edition, both designed by Naoto Fukasawa. Apart from the usual variants with frosted glass back panels, there are also more premium variants that use soft-touch leather with pattern that you’d usually find in suitcases.
realme GT Master Explorer Edition sports a curved 6.55-inch screen while the Master Edition boasts a flat 6.43-inch screen. Both use Super AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and house a 32MP snapper. The former packs a Snapdragon 870 plus up to 12GB of RAM, and the latter runs on a Snapdragon 778G SoC with 8GB of RAM. Both have up to 256GB of storage.
For optics, the vanilla variant has a 64MP main shooter along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro camera, while the flagship model rocks a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, and also a 2MP macro unit.
You get a 4,300mAh battery of the Master Edition, and a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery on the Master Explorer model. Both support 65W SuperDart Charge.
realme GT Master Edition has three colors – Grey, White, and Gradient, and is priced at CNY2,399 for the 8GB+128GB model and CNY2,599 for double the storage. The more powerful variant, on the other hand, comes in four colors, and will retail for CNY2,799 for the 8GB+128GB version and CNY3,099 for the top end 12GB+256GB variant.
